MSMAS Judo ~ Medal success at the '2011 Welsh Senior Judo Open' in Cardiff ...

Well done to Shelley who today medalled in the Finals of ‘The 2011 Welsh Senior Open’ being held at the ‘Welsh Institute of Sport’ in Cardiff …


In her first contest Shelley took out an experienced 2nd Dan Competitor with a beautiful left handed  O-Soto-Gari to gain her first maximum Ippon win of the day, plus another 10 points towards her own 2nd Dan.

In her 2nd contest, yet another Ippon win, before the 3rd contest leading to her 4th contest of the day in the Finals, where she collected a well earned Bronze !

Shelley now awaits details on her new GB Ranking position plus a possible invitation to compete at the upcoming ‘British Trials’ ..

A small MSMAS Junior & Senior Judo Team of just 6 Players, 3 Senior & 3 Junior attended this years BJA Sussex County Judo Trials, yet with only 6 they came home with 6 Medals to enjoy yet another 100% medal success day resulting in 3 x Sussex County Judo Champions & 6 x Sussex County Judo Players ...
