MSMAS Renshi Bibby completes intensive training in Kenjutsu, Batto and other sword arts ....

Since March 30 until April 6 Renshi Bibby received intensive training in Kenjutsu, Batto and other sword arts from Kyoshi Carl Long, DNBKID Official Iaido Coordinator, at our Dojo in Mid Sussex.


Carl Long Kyoshi left the UK yesterday (April 6th), having arrived here last Wednesday (March 30th)…..

Whilst in the UK, Kyoshi Long was able to spend 4 straight 7 hour days (Thursday 31st, Friday 1st, Monday 4th & Tuesday 5th) with Renshi Bibby in our own Dojo from 0900hrs to 1600hrs, on each of those days….

In addition to that, on Saturday April 2nd (1000hrs to 1600hrs) Kyoshi Long held a 6 hour ‘Iaido Clinic’ for MSMAS Members, plus led our regular 2 hour Iaido Session on the evening of Tuesday 5th .

We now await the possible return of Kyoshi Long to the UK to lead yet more Iaido Sessions and Clinics similar in form to the ‘Iaido & Kendo Festival’ we hosted in July 2010...

MSMAS Judo ~ Medal success @ 2013 BJA Sussex County Judo Trials

A small MSMAS Junior & Senior Judo Team of just 6 Players, 3 Senior & 3 Junior attended this years BJA Sussex County Judo Trials, yet with only 6 they came home with 6 Medals to enjoy yet another 100% medal success day resulting in 3 x Sussex County Judo Champions & 6 x Sussex County Judo Players ...
