MSMAS Iaido Session led by our new YuDansha Guy Wakeford 1st Dan .....

The usual Iaido Session at MSMAS was tonight led by Guy Wakeford Sensei, following his promotion from ShoDan-ho to full ShoDan at the recent MSMAS Iaido Gradings ...

Guy began his Martial Arts at MSMAS at the tender age of 39, after first bringing his own children to MSMAS to learn Judo.

Guy discovered the Iaido Sessions at MSMAS and decided to try his hand.

A qualified weight lifting and fitness instructor with 20 years experience Guy was looking for a change in direction and found one at MSMAS, adopting several disciplines.

His commitment to the Dojo and his training has now led to him to attain 1st Dan in Iaido and his appointment as Sempai at our Kendo Dojo.

Guy also acts as 'Premises Manager' at MSMAS.
