Some of the comments received after the weekend:

Once again an instructive and most enjoyable day in a lovely relaxed atmosphere created by Izumi Sensei and yourself. Would personally like to train with you and Izumi Sensei on a regular basis.

I just wanted to write a short note to say thank you very much for the opportunity to train today, as well as experiencing the warmth and open-heartedness of your Dojo. Please if you could pass on my gratitude and regards to Izumi Sensei.

There is no need for me to sing Sensei Izumi's praises, although I am going to anyway. There is no doubt that he is a true warrior and has the lineage and background to support it. I could not have hoped to meet a more opened minded, modest aikidoka, who has nothing short of brilliant techniques, clearly honed in the back streets of some of the toughest neighbourhoods in the World.

Again I would like to thank you and Shihan Dr Hiroaki Izumi for a great weekend. My self and Chris enjoyed our time and we both took away some good points which I will pass onto my students. We hope that you will allow us to train with you again soon. I believe that some of what we spoke about on the Saturday has been lost in a lot of the Clubs. Shihan Izumi and yourself have awoken me and I want to know more. Please pass on my best wishes and safe journey to Izumi Sensei and hopefully, in time, we will meet up again.
