MSMAS Kendo train and practice at Dubai Kendo Club...

MSMAS Kendo recently had the opportunity to train at the Dubai Kendo Club....

The 1st Session opened with a short warm up, followed by some suburi.

Then the Class started in the traditional manner, after which Ashi Waza was practiced.

After a short break, it was into amour to practice Kiri Kaesha ‘men’ and ‘do’, attacking one to four basic waza and then finishing with some Keiko to close this Session.

The 2nd Session followed the same format as the previous, although as there were less beginners, focused more on attacking practice, before yet more Keiko.

As befits any Martial Arts School, an acute sense of hierarchy and etiquette permeated the Dojo.

Our Dojo's grateful thanks to Ian Dawson & Masako Goto of Dubai Kendo for allowing us this rare opportunity to practice and train with them.

We wish them well....
