MSMAS welcome new Honorary Members ~ John & Jutta Brennan, GoDan (5th Dan) Karate DNBKID

John & Jutta Brennan are now both full 'Honorary Members' of MSMAS.

 

Dr John Brennan, D.F.C., Ph.D., M.A., B.A. & B.Sc., 5th Dan Karate DNBKID is Honorardozent at the Otto-von-Guericke-Universität (Faculty of Economics and Management) & the Martin-Luther-Universität Halle-Wittenberg (Faculty of Law and Economics) in Sachsen-Anhalt, Germany.

Jutta Brennan teaches Japanese and related cultural aspects to young people.

Dr. Brennan flew 100 combat missions in Vietnam and holds the Distinguished Flying Cross, plus 11 other Air Medals from the conflict.

They both began Karate 20 years ago and the present Dojo they founded in Magdeburg as an "Arbeitsgemeinschaft" attached to the Ökumenischen Domgymnasium, has produced 14 YuDansha.

Since 2003, both Dojos have enjoyed a close relationship.

MSMAS are pleased to formally recognise this association by these 2 new appointments.

MSMAS Judo ~ Medal success @ 2013 BJA Sussex County Judo Trials

A small MSMAS Junior & Senior Judo Team of just 6 Players, 3 Senior & 3 Junior attended this years BJA Sussex County Judo Trials, yet with only 6 they came home with 6 Medals to enjoy yet another 100% medal success day resulting in 3 x Sussex County Judo Champions & 6 x Sussex County Judo Players ...
