DNBKID officially recognize Roger Payne, Kyoshi as Judo Official Representative.

This is a great honour for our Dojo worldwide as this appointment signifies the emblematic importance of DNBKID’s recognition that Kyoshi Payne will now stand as Official Representative in the classical and traditional discipline of Budo, which they intend to uphold.

DNBKID state that this Official position is based on Kyoshi Payne’s: “professional expertise and outstanding skills and leadership in specific Budo you have shown over the years.”

In Japan, there is a system of Kenshoin, that is those who serve in the official capacity to oversee, examine, advise, recommend, administer in every facet of a particular Budo discipline.

As such, Official Representatives and Coordinators of specific Budo discipline are asked to perform such duties with great pride and honour to facilitate the process of true learning and training for all DNBK ID Members.

Kyoshi Payne will be serving as DNBKID’s champion mentors and leaders, to say the least.

Our Dojo can be justly proud of this honour, which means our own standards must continue to be exemplary in all areas of our Judo, but also in all the other Budo we practice.

This appointment has been confirmed by: Tesshin Hamada, Hanshi, Chair of DNBK ID, VP-Honbu Board of Directors DNBK Honbu, Kyoto, Japan.
