MSMAS Judo continues 100% unbroken contest medal success with Gold & Bronze at Hampshire Open..

The British Judo Association Hampshire Junior & Senior Split Grade Open Competition held at the Mountbatten Centre in Portsmouth was the venue this time

The method of Competition was Pools and Knockout Repechage with normal BJA contest rules
applying, including the ‘Golden Score’.

First, Shelley, in her first ever Senior Competition, demolished her opponent to take GOLD in the Brown and Black (1st Kyu to Dan Grade) Category ...

Then Jake, in just his second only Contest Tournament, took BRONZE in the Junior Group 2 Orange to Green (7th to 12th Mon) Category.

Matt, in the Junior Group Blue and Brown (13th to 18th Mon) Category, was unlucky not to medal this time, with a well earned 5th place !

Best result again ~ no injuries !

MSMAS now move on to the next event with their 100% unbroken contest Judo Medal winning streak still intact in 2008 !
